FACTS ABOUT THE UNIQUE TEFLON® FORMULA IN JEEP® APPAREL:
It is a TREATMENT that is added in manufacturing that STAYS IN with frequent washing.
It is NOT JUST A SURFACE COATING.
It works at the molecular level to protect each individual fiber. There's never any spraying to keep the repellency in – it's built in! It is reactivated in a hot drying cycle and by ironing. Normal laundering procedures will not disrupt the Teflon® treatment. It is maintained even with frequent washing.
It DOES NOT HARM THE ENVIRONMENT. It is CFC FREE!
It forms an INVISIBLE SHIELD that keeps garments looking better longer in 2 ways:
REPELLENCY - Liquids bead up and roll off the fabric instead of going through the fabric onto the wearer's skin, or they can be quickly blotted up.
RELEASE - For the extreme instances when grease and grime gets ground into the fabric, Teflon® aids in the release of both oil-based and water-based stains during laundering.
COMFORT REMAINS THE SAME IN THE TREATED FABRIC.
The inherent properties of the fabric are not altered with the adding of the unique Teflon® formula in Jeep® Brand Apparel. There is no change in the look, feel, comfort, or breathability of treated garments.
TEFLON® TREATMENT RESULTS IN SAVINGS.
Garments are frequently discarded because of stains. Since the unique Teflon® treatment in Jeep® Brand Apparel adds both fluid and stain repellency, fewer garments have to be discarded because of stains. Teflon® lengthens the life of garments because it maintains the appearance longer.
